Two sweaters in one day! Whew! My fingers are on fire! I wove in the final ends on Zack's dragon vest on the same day that I finished the "Sweater from Hell." (See below)

Ruby is the name of the dragon. We have stories in our house about "Brave Sir Zack" and his dragon Ruby. On the front of this sweater is a lace castle. I'll post a photo of that at some point, if I can get my model to stand still enough.

Ok... I found the camera's memory card (right where it should have been.. thanks, Jim!). Then I couldn't get my computer to work. Then I couldn't find the cord to hook the camera to the computer. Then I found the cord and couldn't find the camera. All of this took place over about a week's time. All that time I was knitting... and...

I FINISHED the sweater from hell!
and...
it fits! Woo hoo!

Experiencing Technical Difficulties...

No new pics lately, because the camera is on the fritz. (OK, I can't really blame the camera. We have misplaced the memory card.) For the record, the dragon vest front and back are finished and looking great. I just have to block, weave in a few ends, stitch 'em together and add some trim around the arm and neckholes.

Clapotis and Via Diagonale are done too -- they're on display at The Naked Sheep (the shop, that is, not the Web site).

I still have about 1.5 inches to seam up at the armpit of the "Sweater from Hell."



I don't know why I can't finish it. I think I'm afraid it won't fit and all that work will have been for nothing.

Lately I'm working a modified version of "Lady Eleanor" from Scarf Style. Pics of progressto come as soon as I can find that $*%& memory card.

I am so ready to be done with this. Via Diagonale from Knitty. It's a beautiful pattern... don't get me wrong. I love the way it looks, but I want to get back to my DRAGON!! I'm making myself finish this first, though. More dragon pix,and plans to start on the castle (scroll down a few entries to see it!) next week.
